Join us at our cozy place for a fun and immersive art experience. Our Anime art course is suitable for children who want to learn or improve drawing in anime-style, or who simply want to express their creativity in a calm and supportive environment.

€150 for 12 lessons
incl all supplies needed,
and lunch
(bread or home cooked noodles)
drinks and snacks. (all Vegan)

You only pay for lessons you attend. In case
you (or I) need to skip, you may continue to
follow the course until you have actually
attended 12 lessons.
Payment in installments is possible.
Generally, there are no lessons during school holidays.
About me
I love drawing, especially fantasy art. I feel drawing is part of who I am. Sometimes in our life we cannot express our selves or our feelings in words. But through art, we can learn to develop and express our own feelings, emotions and beauty.

This is part of what I would like to share with children. ​
​I have studied Visual Design Communication at the Universitas Tarumanagara in Jakarta, and together with my teenage daughter, (who regularly attends my classes,) we live with my Dutch husband here in Cuijk. ​​
About the course
In the course, I will guide the children in all the basic techniques on how to draw characters in anime or manga styles. I will show them how patience will lead to beautiful art.
No art skill is required. Important is that the children will enjoy themselves in a safe, creative environment. Those who are already skillful artists I will guide them to improve their craft.

Most important though, is that I will provide a fun, but calm and safe environment for them to enjoy drawing, and let go of daily stress.
At the end of the course, they will have a book filled with their art, which they can feel happy and proud of - if not for its quality, then certainly for the progress that will be visible though out the pages. It will show improvement in their skill, remind them how they learned how to put their imagination to paper, and remind them of the little journey that they have made together with the other children and me. It may also help them build a portfolio, in case the children are looking to really develop their art into to future.

We will provide a sketch book, and I have all art supplies needed that they will use in the lessons. I will teach in English, though I can also speak Dutch if needed. We will be using mainly colored pencils, and water color, because they are familiar to most children, while also providing a wide range of colors and fine control over shades and intensity, when used with the care and skill that I will teach them.
