Nature drawing with colored pencil

I asked the boys to draw nature with colored pencils. They did a good job! After that I guided them in how to use the pencil colors properly so the color can blend well. I taught them not to color the art in a hurry, which children often tend to do, because at school there is always a deadline. By coloring it slowly, the children learn to be patient and be present in the moment and to enjoy art better. Not to mention the result is a lot smoother and prettier!
