Pencil color and make up art

Every girl loves beauty and make up, so to make it more interesting for a 10-year-old I combined pencil color with real make up to make the art. This is another form to create arts.

We made a sketch of face mask with pencil, and after that I taught the children a technique to get small shavings from colored pencils using scissors. Of course this kind technique is never clean, but that is part of the fun. You use your finger to be creative and get a soft mixing/blending effect on the paper.

After that I teach her to use real make up to make shadows on parts of the face that need it. She loved it and was having fun with it.

She never expect doing art is so interesting and fun and would make her relaxed and let her focus. That she said that, makes me feel it's worth it, because that's part of me, to want to teach them to have fun and relax.

This was the end. For me every art of children is precious so all credit to the child ^^
